PS 399 - Politics of Inequality

Why has wealth and income inequality growns so rapidly in the US? How has this inequality affected students, especially at the UO? How are students, workers and communities fighting back for difference future?
This 1-credit weekend course will explore these questions and others. It will utilize a COMMUNITY SCHOLARS model – bringing together union members, community leaders, and university students to share ideas, experience, and knowledge.
